A few days ago I was given the opportunity to use a brand new, very unique and intriguing WordPress plugin called Social Gallery. I was very impressed with how easy it was to setup with little to no effort on my part.

Social Gallery WordPress plugin turns your ordinary gallery images into a powerful sharing tool. Similar to opening up an image in Facebook, social gallery plugin adds a Facebook comments section next to each photo in  your image gallery. There is also a tweet button for tweeting the photo, a “pin it” button for pining the photo to pinterest, and Facebook send and and like buttons. Just take a look for yourself.

I probably don’t have to tell you what you already know. but for the sake of this amazing article I am writing, I’ll spell it out for you.

Using the Social Gallery plugin will increase the exposure of your website by allowing your visitors to share your images for you. We all know that Facebook is the largest social website in the world and when you share something cool there, it has the potential to become a viral sensation.

Ever since I discovered the amazing plugin Social Gallery, I have been brainstorming all the cool websites I could use this unique image gallery extension on. Photographers was the first I had in mind. What better way to get local exposure than by local visitors to your website sharing your images with their friends and family. Local restaurant websites will benefit greatly as I  have noticed there isn’t one person on my Facebook friends list who hasn’t shared an image of food at least once. I am one of the guilty who love to post images of good food I see on the internet. Especially if it comes from a local restaurant.

I highly reccomend using Social Gallery Plugin for your next project. It’s super easy to use, you can set it up in less than 3 minutes and you’ll start gaining exposure in no time.
