Marketing audit, SEO audit & strategy services
Find out what's actually working
Sometimes the problem isn't that you need a new website or a bigger ad budget. It's that nobody has figured out why the current ones aren't working. That's what an audit is for, and I'll explain the findings in plain English.

Why audit first
Spending more on marketing won't fix it if you don't know what's broken.
Most business owners I talk to aren't short on effort. They've got a website, some SEO, maybe ads running. What they don't have is a clear picture of which parts are bringing in customers and which parts are quietly eating the budget.
I look at the data before I give an opinion. Your analytics, your search visibility, your competitors, your website's structure and the path a visitor takes before they call. Then I tell you what I found, what it's worth fixing, and in what order.
Three questions worth asking about your marketing
- 01Do you know which of your marketing channels actually produced your last ten customers?
- 02Why do your competitors show up on Google for the searches you want, and you don't?
- 03If you had to cut one thing from your marketing budget tomorrow, would you know what to cut?
If those are hard to answer, you don't need more marketing yet. You need a clear read on what you already have.

After the audit
A plan you can actually follow.
- Marketing strategy
- A practical plan built around your goals and budget: which channels to invest in, which to stop, and what to measure so you know it's working. Written so you could hand it to anyone, including another agency.
- Online business planning
- For businesses selling online or expanding: market research, ecommerce strategy, budgeting and risk planning, growth opportunities, and a short list of the tools and contractors worth your money.
- Tools and systems setup
- Setup, configuration and training for the software your business runs on: Google Workspace, donation and campaign platforms like ActBlue, WinRed, Anedot and GiveWP, event tools like Time.ly, CRMs and automation.
- Implementation
- You can take the plan and run with it. If you want help, I can do the work through SEO, Google Ads management or a website rebuild, or coach your team through it with training.

Questions
Asked often.
What's the difference between an SEO audit and a marketing audit?
An SEO audit looks at how your site performs in search: technical health, content, keywords and local signals. A marketing audit is wider. It looks at every channel, how leads are tracked, and where the budget is going. My Marketing & SEO audit covers both, because they affect each other.
What do I actually get at the end?
A written report with a prioritized fix list, and a walkthrough call so you understand every finding. The UX audit is a recorded 20-minute video you can rewatch and share with your team.
Do I have to hire you to fix what you find?
No. The findings are yours. Plenty of clients hand them to their in-house team or another developer. If you'd like me to do the work, I'll quote it separately.
What access do you need?
Read access to Google Analytics, Search Console, your Google Business Profile and any ad accounts. I don't need passwords, and I don't change anything during an audit.
Can you audit my Google Ads account?
Yes. An ad account review is part of the Marketing & SEO audit, or I can do a standalone Google Ads audit. More on that on the Google Ads management page.
Will you tell me if my current agency is doing a bad job?
I'll tell you what the data shows, good or bad. Sometimes the agency is doing fine and the problem is somewhere else. I'd rather you make decisions on facts than on my opinion.
Next step
Let's find out where your marketing is losing money.
Thirty minutes to talk through your question. We'll pick the right audit, or I'll tell you that you don't need one.
